Through eight years at Holy Innocents’, I learned what it means to grow with a community. Whether I was in class, on the baseball field, or helping out behind the scenes, this school showed me the value of being steady, thoughtful, and dependable.

I’ve voluntarily fixed dozens of school-owned machines, from John Deere Gators to powered field rakes and sports equipment, using my skills to repair assets across athletics, facilities, and administration. Each fix ensured the equipment would be reliable and flawless for the user.

I served as a Student Practitioner on the IDEA committee, helping ensure that IDEA’s core values are reflected across the student body. Through dialogue, empathy, and collaboration, I’ve worked to build a culture where every voice feels valued and every difference becomes a strength.

I helped spearhead an initiative to bring UNICEF’s Kid Power Bands to over 370 students, turning physical activity into life-saving aid for children in crisis zones. The experience ignited my passion for global impact and led me to represent youth advocacy at UNICEF’s National Student Summit.

I helped organize a Water Walk that engaged hundreds of students in raising funds for clean water access, simulating the daily trek many children face. Backed by Dikembe Mutombo and UNICEF USA, the event combined advocacy and action, leaving a lasting global impact.
